The Underground Training Station is a dedicated and focused performance centre located in Hoylake on the Wirral peninsular, North West England.
This is not your typical gym. You will not find a single treadmill, bike or cross trainer, and neither will you see rows upon rows of the newest and trendiest resistance machines. We have no towel service, and it’s not compulsory to bring one with you either, we have a few showers – just in case you must have one, but we don’t offer any kind of pampering service; need your hair cut? Go find a salon. We don't have TV screens all over the place, and we don’t use an air conditioning system. Why? Because we don’t need any of that stuff, and more importantly, neither do you.
What we do have are the essentials needed to get stronger, more explosive, faster, further, and leaner. Whether you’re a local resident looking for something more from your exercise regime, or a local high school athlete looking to make the regional squad, an elite-level college/university athlete trying to make it to the podium, or even a local fire/police officer looking to get strong and lean, you will find yourself right at home here.
All too often people rely on sub-par methods to get fit and strong, taking advice from all the wrong people and falling all too often for the rubbish information that makes it into most health and fitness magazines. Athletes, and most of the general public that work out, spend too much time following modified body building routines or other programs that are ineffective at getting real world results and are now plain obsolete. These types of programs are exactly what is causing people to become unmotivated, weak, fat, un-athletic, and in the worse instance, injured.

At the Underground Training Station, we don’t care who you are. When you join our gym, our main goal is to help you become fitter, leaner, healthier and satisfied with your hard work. We provide a World Class service for people who have a fitness goal, whatever that goal might be.
